I think I'm falling for fooooood

Lately I have fallen in love with food. If you know me at all you must know that this type of thing doesn't happen often. I would find food mediocre or something that is meant to just fuel your body without any pleasure. These past two months there has been a shift in me with the way I am treating food. I am sick of ordering the same meals on the menu. Sick of making the same bland dishes. I have completely released myself into the food world. I don’t ever want to come out of it. When I eat something I close my eyes, admire the scents from it, and focus on what it is I am eating. Being present while I eat something and not focusing on how it could make me feel after or for the long term. Savoring the present with what is given to me. Eating amazing food is a privilege that not many are able to experience. I know for myself, there were times in my life where I did not appreciate anything food had to offer. It would be hard to see what others saw when they would eat a certain dish. I almost love to meditate when I eat something delicious. I do not need to talk about what it is I am tasting or describe it to anyone. It is a physical conversation that my body can have for itself. I encourage everyone to find the foods that make them feel good. Ignite the little spark to your day.

Here are foods that remain on my mind:

  1. Belga Falafel Waffle and Cinnamon Waffle

  2. Shake Shack Burger with Fries

  3. Greek salad

  4. &pizza

  5. Fig Jam

  6. Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream

  7. Soul Spice bowls

  8. Fresh fruit

  9. All different types of sandwiches

  10. Sydney Mannings Vodka Pasta
